镇江金山寺惊现白蛇与青蛇

我国人民世代相传的四大爱情故事之一的“白蛇传”发生地镇江金山，2002年09月中旬惊现一条白蛇。无独有偶的是，一条小青蛇也相继在同一地方出现。从而，给这一民间传奇披上一层“神秘”的色彩。

据扬子晚报报道，记者目击到，这条白蛇长1.67米，直径10厘米，从头到尾呈雪白色，白蛇的眼珠呈红色，晶莹发亮；青蛇长1.42米，直径9厘米。白蛇与青蛇均在金山寺白龙洞前御码头水中发现。金山公园饲养人员打趣地告诉记者，这条十分罕见的白蟒蛇无毒、性善和，十分逗人喜爱。
