But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. 1 h- l6 X$ I) V

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. ' V- ?8 R8 m8 H1 \ 9 P- |% B2 _9 a7 ~) Z' I, Q* M"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. i1 I3 n1 [" O, I: T2 R6 H
& d0 P6 s6 T. v7 S; r"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 7 Z- Q& e+ {. u2 P3 F$ [
0 ?$ v& H8 @: s. Q* I* DThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. 4 c; z5 ~7 g, j( x! Q0 }/ b" N B& o6 i2 R2 y: q
Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. . f( h8 o0 U, \

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 4 o# x" [7 w) u
% }+ {5 a. J/ Y9 RIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 6 \& K1 w0 u4 m$ ^5 |, W ) @9 A8 i& n+ P2 z1 q1 eThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 4 e7 B0 ~% g2 H; Y! C: G! T

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. : u7 ^3 v2 O S3 U* F2 n' ^' b) B8 R. O6 C
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. : v" |5 c% x: J0 R* e2 c! ]6 z& g) ^! S& M4 q5 w) ^ w& b9 H
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. ) u6 @5 R& a' w9 f! t5 n/ |3 Z' v S. [+ Y; J' k6 L) ^9 x; ~) L
"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. ' U U8 N# j& j$ w& P0 e. } 6 @* k+ _1 A; m1 n"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. 8 G0 u& t' c4 l1 G: m& ]- N: z' ?

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." . ^5 e1 w* G+ S ! ]8 i J. Q0 ~* B2 JMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 4 O1 A h/ N4 Y5 ~. v

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. % R" P, \* ?# Y; O: h U1 @( i9 c$ B+ b, y- G# i+ m+ {
They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 8 k- f# p: k4 Z2 O8 \: [- W : w9 N/ i+ Y4 F8 F* r' `They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. ! g/ E8 q9 U8 @3 v+ B- h3 f; p ! p; o0 C- A: W8 I' rMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 4 [+ A* Q8 I" f) y. \1 S0 a2 Y2 Q# u R' x

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." " d# ^9 }# R& h
# q: [/ E0 _& Q; {. z. N* ~He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
