"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 5 v! M/ [$ l9 W2 Q/ e% @; ?( Y8 m+ R2 x6 B" L
"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 4 P3 h* @, Q0 D& h 5 w9 u( ~8 H5 W& |7 \8 B8 Q% vThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. i/ x; Q2 F$ ?7 l, @2 I7 h# x" ~

' t8 [. U2 E" F3 UIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 1 r& B$ l& X2 m% R4 Q, g- k* l+ p
$ b8 j3 a. h/ T' |8 RThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 7 A9 y! O6 a* p0 u E$ A# D& l

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 6 d+ F% E- {2 q ~& V+ W* B0 I. @ 8 w V/ I- x. M) _- xMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. ; z% x; W# a( _& D

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 9 L2 A0 t: P% q, G1 |7 ]) i( y9 m& |. L! S. B3 V. o6 S3 ^; m( { W
"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. 6 A8 B6 O: y* a/ i( s3 u+ o4 ?/ ^9 \* r( y# k
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. - g( I* P% u7 k$ L9 A9 c- i

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 1 D% D8 y" z9 r+ Z; m# R 3 u& u+ ], `% O8 zMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 9 y4 A k' O* ]4 |5 x( x) e 2 Q/ }4 h6 d* l5 E9 \ wTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. # ~2 T6 j! % \: l6 H, |1 CThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. * [* Q0 T' C; N. {* A ( F1 c8 q" K' X e* \4 \! x5 jThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. ) i* W# F$ _ |" w$ @$ T7 H! \! h3 |: O
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 8 n7 K( p8 {, Z1 h ! I D5 p. X5 I- A"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." ; O; s5 k" _* @; ~8 r5 s! x8 v3 O8 {4 p/ |8 {7 j
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
