Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. ! l) r x& [1 [0 W! }& j; E% u7 M

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. ' ~0 ]1 y; H2 M h6 ~) y+ K! d1 D% c. b3 v4 f0 p+ B$ i
"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 4 N% B1 U* K8 s5 w+ ^/ B

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. + J5 O+ C; O/ \4 [" F2 Q4 ~. X1 _! l3 g: y
Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. # Q; Q8 Y+ N( a' h* ]

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 3 M& f6 a/ W4 `' y+ O; w ) e4 {, K: L) eIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 2 R. }; S5 a9 f& P5 Y

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. ( }4 F q$ s) H8 A( Z- i, \7 k " [; e. p8 S! V( g# o2 I4 y" t/ zShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. ) L0 [9 J3 q! M" T
! W( R9 z1 U* W: v6 W7 w7 Y) UMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. % e' h% b6 p- }! ?9 P6 a
- y! h: X1 W, ^* bBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. , N( @# e" w+ a9 V( q3 p, Y $ T$ b5 n7 e( d n( E9 @$ u& V"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. % v. f( i8 E' e% R b7 \- b+ o+ a3 j W2 d3 h; e+ l
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. ( r" Z4 d; {. _0 h : Y% g$ ?9 v8 s# M$ ]0 L* P$ T"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." # p4 w* X) }6 O+ I/ J
; p! U/ ^# A/ j* q- C% AMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. t8 e& Z5 n0 t- Y) _
, U# A7 g! Z' o7 t" Q2 N; o3 B* _To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 8 r8 s9 F& X: p. O% X& c
( y) n! o/ F# O' X, cThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. , o$ ?4 R' r5 D$ k7 i9 N; B1 P4 ?0 g& \
; u5 t% h. E1 n/ FThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 1 [6 I5 h: y7 Y' Q
( n8 J( n8 _! r/ R/ FMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 3 u0 Y) C* u6 d( }7 [
. Y3 M3 W3 J6 p) x; B6 b) w, c"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 6 U" c: b x3 J. N; n5 q# ]5 F- `4 ~

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
