今年45岁的沃里纳与现年32岁的“好生养”太太雷娜，育有6女3子（包括3胞胎女儿），最大的9岁，最小的还未满月。结婚时他们协议生6个，没想到越生越高兴，雷娜坦言自己已经“生上瘾”。 ) q! D3 R* }& C+ E" k

3年没有放假 每天洗衣4遍 ; R8 b0 P( ?4 Z2 [& V$ D 0 O; u4 X0 h# w3 `7 y9 N/ t 小生命带来快乐，但是，照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时，要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍，工作量比一般主妇多几倍，一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了，也很少见朋友，但是，沃里纳说：“这个家是我们的命根，我不觉得缺乏什么。” , n3 a8 P8 {* S" k, F

But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. 3 s9 Q7 K% ~) n) x

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. + U5 M8 ~3 B" _, R( Y" |* y+ e
"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 1 P* `/ i6 f$ q+ Q/ n. w / Q( d$ ?! M6 f1 u+ f"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." * @; r: ^/ H, F; E+ Q. `

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. # V2 E" A- X+ P/ K) x* p

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. ! l+ n) k7 b F+ u5 Y

( ?( X1 Z* Y/ b$ bIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. " S0 {! |$ r. }% x( m" G( E* {: d4 R; M* U" Z }6 N" `# m1 `
Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 4 g8 L# J4 l! o* @- q 2 S# P& t3 f0 Z7 x; B, AShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 8 P* H# v, K( y" f# `, Y% e( V
% y/ ?7 {* g3 z) B# uMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. # O4 j, d1 u7 X5 | ( d- a% T9 [2 {" KBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. - v3 g5 h0 |' V & H/ B6 V7 N5 ?. d9 m) W, S"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. 9 `3 q8 T; A- \ + v/ G' `2 f4 L1 q"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. 5 m: ]) S. d# Y5 ~- | . Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. ' ~% m5 a+ ?* I9 E. i# k+ g& E% _2 g4 b, ]4 v# W3 L
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 6 {6 [# D0 \# O9 d! U/ f# E" A: C8 I
They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. + q( n& }8 o' _. U" S/ ]7 a( {( Z% ~) e/ G
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. $ A2 u, z- \+ u2 O# u0 T; I2 v: u8 E, m# b$ k& c3 Z
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. % b# U3 k, |4 i: p% P" T" e- R) H4 _7 @4 p9 i
"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." " g& ^/ G; C3 ]- K/ Q& R/ k4 B6 h/ v" {8 b9 J0 F
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
