Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. 8 [: J- i# v0 B. O$ Q3 l

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 2 P j% \0 R+ u6 j & b) [6 |6 t# c( M"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." % W1 z j7 B! d

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. ' U5 G! D! z% T: p6 `$ h

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. |& e* @- O9 C% a3 m
2 G7 E) C) M* k: JAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 4 R4 o p- ^) z& R B* P% o

In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 6 V' _9 t" W, q" k0 m7 x8 v
2 X$ l9 p7 B9 K+ rThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 7 v" t% l1 z8 P! r* }) s5 |" `7 E6 }' k% Y6 b
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. , j+ B, t- l( d6 v# z
% Z, s, T0 I- O, t9 [2 x$ }4 ~Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. - `- V p9 \& k- c 0 c$ [1 l$ S+ J# E. SBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. # y; r& U I) i4 p: Z
) u. G" g% F- q- f1 J! {"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. / h. o# I) D$ y! x3 O7 p; {: v4 K1 t( p7 I1 Z$ K, P
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. / k/ t# }, K0 z! j4 \# A . J3 ?5 o+ O7 r"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 3 `5 p+ F5 x, K1 y5 \

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. + B x2 l2 s# q2 [3 e8 o# e# N `, p3 v$ F8 t
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 8 o9 ^& w# z% o# d/ e
$ c" S% S4 C$ R3 |They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. ) M# [; i: t/ {6 n2 ~/ ?* k! {9 w8 w1 d, b! ]$ v' _5 \4 V
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 9 A1 O% w! U+ z6 Y) p

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 3 [3 K/ R N8 N+ W! G N/ r& A2 j* w, ]% n"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." - a, D* h0 Z6 T( B2 u4 [, z

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
