After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete. 1 t6 J0 J0 M: j $ C" N) l8 r$ i; N! x7 cBut, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. : z( k" f, G; r2 Q: i4 Q% x! O! O* j+ n. |3 I
Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. + d' ~/ R- u1 S+ N4 u
4 _( d1 |& I) F' D! A2 ~2 `"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. $ M1 _; Y* N5 Y9 A , i$ r; i X4 Z& \"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." : e) Q& U+ T& A, ~# C$ Y% K6 L$ K- ?! X6 o/ w3 ?
The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. 1 ]6 p# r4 l9 \0 X/ m3 ]

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. + m6 _/ h9 I* F
# r# o* H5 T8 _Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 6 w8 n5 w4 j7 F, o1 N) q8 q
. ^7 L6 U! q& I% n2 p6 _+ v s+ S7 zIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. ! c, n5 Z' C! t( M0 }4 L

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 8 ]* U* I7 i. T! K4 t4 d: y5 Q j$ q% W c) t/ ~9 S7 |0 i
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 6 Y0 q/ Q$ q; p' W' H7 L# A" S5 M, L( i g
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. % } |; _: z3 j% m6 b! F$ U/ F: H2 I+ C! k4 q& I
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. ; e0 _( W/ m5 T& x4 G& F4 N

"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. 1 J* h7 s% w# F0 K/ M9 i
6 y4 Y1 w8 _% p. e, L6 u; F1 f$ A"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. 4 ~% K1 G% _* Q) v $ p f- ^" ~1 b"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 9 s: E" p; m0 r0 i% e6 f! T9 t( c2 Y* U
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. * [3 q' x2 w6 X% `- q" j) R

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 9 {, e0 N% u, a2 W

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. & }, [; I8 {1 S- R/ U 1 e" R. W) l+ {4 OThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. % ?) g4 e7 C' `! ^7 u+ \# q- B* T3 \+ ?) m6 F9 w
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. * {0 U8 |! N+ k- c5 F
, F5 m( c# m! S1 g& M V- d5 W) ^
"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." : l- R% x0 N/ l+ a6 V8 g' o# E
' b* ] A" Z' b$ [He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
