Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. & h } a# ? r

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 5 q: ~) O$ w' Q6 d

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." ' z4 l$ b( O: w4 m/ g0 u5 j

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. 2 u) Q; `- z, ^ " j! ?4 Z- ~; G/ F6 o# s- LTheir oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. ! _- Y( Z: Y r3 J 6 U: L2 L. Q! p3 M+ E: yAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 5 ~# f7 d9 |" V- f! Z3 P6 c* H1 p% _2 X8 O2 b. p
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 5 l# p/ `3 e6 h! g8 O; K3 O% c
" z" P7 [5 c+ kThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. / ~' p0 S6 s* C( [9 ~# H2 n* A

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. . O) {3 A R1 a \5 ~3 V! P+ N7 k9 {! d) PMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. % s6 H7 f7 A$ q q% }

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. , ]: W0 _7 P% a9 L

; f3 ~ ~ F* z: l"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 6 E" x/ u+ d6 C9 `& V8 J ; ] {. h2 g- Q, f d. TMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 2 F, P c) W8 _7 o7 l |* `* s8 s$ K
) ?4 Y: V; X( k5 U) P( E# ZTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. / L0 y7 [+ ?1 T3 \3 n7 b
# ]! d* j8 d+ t `0 Y. n# qThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 6 c% O9 c' @/ m" K k; W2 r& C! {7 @8 J8 x' t9 _: p# q+ `4 T
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 5 G0 ?0 d `" P7 h1 h. p1 Z! P& N / D0 q% |& w: `Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 2 r* @+ a8 n3 \" r8 `) o( p
: c3 c# e* p" Q$ a. [" v"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." * M, q- Z) m1 Z r. ^ {- V + r* G+ `: T) X- y: p! O* |) hHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
