"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." * ~! t3 q' O. @; {) D0 D' O

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. 1 n$ }4 y+ T: T: }2 ?& f) r( s5 w

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. " R& L! z5 B. A1 e, n2 S: g4 a7 t8 P: t6 [( a5 q) a
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 8 j" q6 m! b9 V) X9 F9 w / `. `& K5 g& I; B( ?4 BBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 7 n3 x% u. _7 T/ x; K4 I0 L" [) h' } S+ r% ]1 `& g( Q' k( o

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. / {5 C/ ?( N. J3 A: D+ Q, n( p+ G: r
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. " k' l8 U5 x J* D, P- `- \
3 |# j0 r* O: q3 UThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. & O% c* E ?( q

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 0 R( E" a3 m- [$ S6 _, A/ C
j" Y( |/ Q9 t% Q- \2 |4 b8 {2 xMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 9 N* S \' c3 J* ~5 _ N/ ^# ] ! K( _2 _" Z" M6 J( P$ Z"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." - x. k/ n" `* K0 F1 D
% S( S* |- P f$ s oHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
