今年45岁的沃里纳与现年32岁的“好生养”太太雷娜，育有6女3子（包括3胞胎女儿），最大的9岁，最小的还未满月。结婚时他们协议生6个，没想到越生越高兴，雷娜坦言自己已经“生上瘾”。 7 s1 v2 W3 P; K! D, B% B' ^2 ^* C3 m6 w
3年没有放假 每天洗衣4遍 - S9 @. a2 M6 c9 k _ 0 o; x$ }( ^! I/ I8 V" M8 E 小生命带来快乐，但是，照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时，要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍，工作量比一般主妇多几倍，一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了，也很少见朋友，但是，沃里纳说：“这个家是我们的命根，我不觉得缺乏什么。” 0 F2 g" S: h% Q ]( e1 E

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. ; s5 [% b2 U& p$ C& R

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. # t! A2 }7 ?( R- ?& n( V- j1 ]* W

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." : h1 E" D7 w) L # ?" f. p1 }) C vThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. 1 o5 j, ~6 g$ I- s . i! G9 i: p) k5 p$ t9 dTheir oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 1 Y# ] F6 Q- q) F0 [9 T( ^& g7 p1 M& l7 s! Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. ; R$ E$ q' P4 q" q: [

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. & S" I* M, }! B; s0 l

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. - f. }) L- A2 y' q# I' j
& {; K6 k# m3 A& N
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. / F3 H# G# I. u% ]; Z) S7 r' R
: H2 y6 R5 B1 CBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 3 O" D& k9 ~* j P7 H. s2 u' b 3 s; m z5 ^% g: H# o"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. Y( n1 Q- E! }/ `" g" I6 h"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. # B) o( B Y: C% C / ~5 y2 c1 I3 m: E% [- |7 a"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." . Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 6 w8 ?: I% h/ i$ H5 e" R
' Y7 [" M: ^& }/ g9 n% D7 N5 t- u
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 2 c. ?7 @5 x3 S $ w- ]7 G# A- B, c1 CThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. ( m7 n% ?* s S+ A- `# _6 F * ?' t3 U J% _+ m+ R; p" _They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. / c; {$ z& n/ l( t& P% z

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. . ^2 M. N% {* S) ~# N) X0 C" x* v

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." ( E5 S+ d9 |- @4 K4 }# V$ s% c: k

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
