小生命带来快乐，但是，照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时，要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍，工作量比一般主妇多几倍，一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了，也很少见朋友，但是，沃里纳说：“这个家是我们的命根，我不觉得缺乏什么。” : @ s+ V1 f) ^ Q( c1 ^4 N5 m" E' ?8 e& u1 r4 w

After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete. $ r- }* a6 D% @4 i1 f3 e [- k7 Y9 P# k, ^ R2 o3 e
But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. - Z& F: k: W* H9 _7 @/ Z B3 ]

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. # Z# L. H( ]# W( A1 [/ M e- v
% L7 m8 A& E3 y$ F: W4 G9 t7 c: p6 n"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 9 h+ l* q1 d" {, Z
& k7 P+ y) w/ J" L
"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 0 [4 L4 l7 W( a5 |5 A G7 m9 ^
% M1 a3 F$ j0 J4 ~ pThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. ; X/ |3 L9 y. G" d3 T2 |1 C3 Y; g# {5 e w1 g' h4 j' S! J: z
Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 6 ]7 a4 Y$ p) E" { Z" _ * Y- F$ ^& X; H5 R. kAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 7 J3 m9 M) L2 t* l4 q, M5 f% _8 a3 Z2 k! o% g5 Y3 w {5 G: G
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. * Z# J1 M& G- G. l3 d; U6 U. u( C- [
Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. ; \2 c; E; @7 A 6 O4 C; E( j7 [: p9 l) GShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. # w+ r. H4 G8 A7 o, f8 e O1 [
* Q% A f3 s+ j( r! f1 V$ _# @
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. : o) u! R7 e) ?8 m; Q. b% p9 J* U6 a% e9 @) e7 |
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. * f( ?. v. R- F# R7 q+ n, j2 w! I1 Q! i! X' z
"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. 1 S& Z2 G+ W8 |4 z0 x1 ~0 v) q8 M. r
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. 8 [/ S* S0 e) @5 H9 V' d* S' p _" |# @$ f3 W
"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 9 r. y& p; E- l2 t2 E

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. + \3 ^; h8 y+ L* w% U- f; P2 V x' R& ^8 |, D
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 9 F0 D/ K$ m& _7 n4 L$ y
4 U. X @5 o+ e/ CThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. V, G$ ~5 i& c- O- U

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 6 n% l2 j- m; B$ H. p! p4 [3 Y3 s! m& Q' E' {
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. / K& ?7 F% K4 A$ Y# c) l ) R4 _4 Y3 i# O. w/ p"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." m4 M" A+ O/ W6 B4 m- F
h) F1 N. h' b+ W) I
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
