After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete.: \* p6 ]9 r L' b- ]; R: N

But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. ; F9 Y# h1 |3 W7 y# X
/ M; n- A( p9 T2 x( ^5 FLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. " [; T! u" Z' {# L& O: t

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. ( r3 q* d( Q$ L0 Y+ z# _
# r- L6 y1 U$ H/ G7 k! D+ o: D- ]; E"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." : {1 ]1 X# M8 H* U- |

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 2 N5 W0 o7 N+ B/ Q. b% [' [/ O/ x# I4 r
Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. : M# R8 b c0 L4 U8 n j- W& D. u* R; D7 e0 q9 V
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. & F7 t- V, s1 Y( M/ w0 r% g6 D1 p
Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 7 N' j- p; m- I6 q/ k6 ~" s7 |7 y* B* N8 l- S0 Z
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. - z: P4 l% w$ E- p/ H8 N B/ V. d0 ?6 M3 u, c
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 9 F- G+ V M% G+ P. [
; o" u; m& z8 A- XBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. & X9 s/ f& t' K, E4 a7 z$ B4 M5 y( C0 j6 a0 w
"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. # E# z- Q( K4 H! G) \. U( q
0 f# u8 c1 Q# i3 {) p( k9 `4 G3 L"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. ( ]8 ]8 v( h$ c3 [3 r# T3 @ . S5 e0 P6 c# p, s"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." : p7 k/ n0 T& `, t6 d) [; n, g 7 x0 r3 D) ?& pMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. & {$ p. w5 H; @" _( }! l+ H* t2 S: c0 A' g# A8 |% N
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 9 I% M/ W8 @9 Y8 e9 ~. V 8 y l: E" t7 s1 X$ t3 SThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 3 Z2 w+ J1 i& Q) v( a4 J/ M9 K2 D
$ V# b& N" Y- aThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 1 `: ~, ^: Z) Z; G W/ t! h. {$ V2 m$ K
* u* l+ ^& q& M) `% XMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 4 g8 Y+ A, g6 v# r# d
) K/ }. I3 W. i5 R7 i$ q' v"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." , ^0 y1 r6 r# B) g7 \0 G+ s! ^1 [+ U+ I6 Z$ J: \
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
