今年45岁的沃里纳与现年32岁的“好生养”太太雷娜，育有6女3子（包括3胞胎女儿），最大的9岁，最小的还未满月。结婚时他们协议生6个，没想到越生越高兴，雷娜坦言自己已经“生上瘾”。 8 E) {* b t# t- |. j3 q

小生命带来快乐，但是，照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时，要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍，工作量比一般主妇多几倍，一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了，也很少见朋友，但是，沃里纳说：“这个家是我们的命根，我不觉得缺乏什么。” / W) s! }: v K* h8 e: C/ k* j8 r+ P# P; F

But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. . n3 q- d; j- X3 u f5 @5 Q / S, w9 j9 Q GLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. 5 I% u, g$ q: n

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 6 `- T5 l6 S: I' V! e

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 8 C L5 w( e3 E* \* b : U, q4 ]" B0 r$ |' LThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. . y; u" v* l; m. * I7 ~) Y( V n5 ]Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 7 }2 t1 Q; Y( ~& A' x
) h* c7 l; I+ @Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. a- t; R! @5 M* d+ h7 _5 s5 p 9 {. H$ U p, nIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. ) e, A P( d ?& b) O+ m( `5 Z: B8 _4 L3 ]+ r; e
Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. - x4 l1 G9 @" t3 x' T4 O1 n 0 p& d% e. m) V q `7 _9 J2 j4 ^She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. & y8 l7 Q! u: f9 F5 `

Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. ( Y$ n) t; y, i) h$ w
, W+ }- J3 q( d+ x' m$ l0 kBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. & A4 U; q) Q# @$ a

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." " F W. O4 y9 ~ @1 l: C: O6 i& ?' [" l, J, X; X8 v+ Q
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. & i o2 x9 q8 d0 f, T0 _ @. G' F7 |+ N9 |/ ?, r2 u' N
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. & x* N, ~" o' U; |+ e& k

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. & h& g" G8 Y4 _/ v5 D$ q, X

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. , p: F, U2 d6 J' _; T3 [ Y7 h5 z1 Y ; M2 P) p8 ~0 m. j) C$ s3 b4 `Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. / y* K7 A2 Y2 \" ~ % ]7 K. Z4 m z7 Y"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 5 c- t0 e0 y5 M/ f- r

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
