After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete. 6 b7 `. r+ N' @9 m3 K0 \: F) ]- n" Q8 w' s9 G
But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. - G2 Q3 I& F0 B, f' \# p

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. 6 ]/ _, S; \7 s4 _ z/ Q# d6 Q& W D; O8 Z; L& j3 r; i
"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 3 U* E& O" R& K; C$ y n: o/ }- }: | % {& n( n8 a. c! g"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 5 i# W1 e( z9 C% y% s/ G+ r4 f8 I0 V+ Z9 O$ W3 y: I
The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. ( Y; i+ P0 _ t% c& T1 g# @0 Q1 M3 K+ S: Z6 v0 [1 W* g, b
Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 0 `+ L! d4 @9 I7 Z$ y: T

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. * Z& @! @' l! U* M2 A! s7 a# ~5 d# O$ L3 K2 e+ `. |3 x8 U+ K
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. , M8 J% K! ?" B1 s3 l% [) v* L
" v. T! T( O, D+ F- n8 x PThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. : }8 P% U: S9 Y, i
5 H4 r3 b3 ^2 n0 V k9 O- q/ ~) P" eShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. - Z+ h/ M) N0 U; k! {. t6 G9 K
+ V! A! @6 U/ T; u$ f5 NMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 5 g% N5 \! O6 \/ [3 U/ I4 h2 t2 R0 C2 x& G* `
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. % `5 L0 J/ c; y( Q" X4 ~; N

O' i1 o6 I; P o"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. 7 _ i. g- o# ] 1 j7 c! n) E8 f' ]/ F) ^' a"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. ( H& Q1 J( r% q/ Y6 V/ p0 ^ 7 B! |& _$ e% w7 S# f+ f# A0 z" _"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 5 M$ `" h/ q$ Q' F5 G3 j . l% W. c. A+ r% n! nMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 8 ^0 Q. w" r Z! s; u2 C0 b4 S. z Q% D
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. ) c4 D1 b9 W. T" c" x# S6 a7 J2 R

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 2 M$ T; J! {$ c1 q. Q4 ^' U 0 t: F0 a G7 k9 R( fThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. / G0 ^* v5 O5 z3 S& s3 a
/ r- v/ _( K y; f! bMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 9 F: n" @! g- C8 u* G8 |$ n
# H! y; C, N- l1 `% v! H
"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." , Z- t# A/ Y8 _- E
1 @1 ]4 _& p! _9 Q; X& n2 K6 z
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
