7 D" H# H& Z' {After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete. + Q! w$ @0 e" U+ C . u+ i k0 B8 G3 `' k0 _/ {7 pBut, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. ! q z, d4 `8 ^6 i ( ^. I' s0 Y S& K! m2 SLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. : |% E. h; V" J: S
$ U: U- n( p: E6 @% H/ e& C* ~"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. ; Q! ~4 [! y }. _8 [6 V

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." : K3 ]( F/ E8 s4 |8 t" `9 q4 }, k 4 O; q3 t- c/ l e* _8 } qThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. e7 \- n& v- i5 L' h / q" M; m0 s( Y" _+ }Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. / p/ f' Z- D& `2 f 6 P1 e) Y P& Y, D) p6 E0 }' M3 h+ sIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. , \* X/ F, u1 ]! h" t, D# | ?8 R. H- F6 f4 AThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. , d( T4 C& q8 c1 v1 X / U* ?7 t5 s* {6 d5 e' TShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 7 R4 u1 z1 X. P& _" G6 {1 e8 Z
) ^- P/ m# E8 p' M$ R( BMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. ' J3 k& ~( P2 P+ `- z; m' H 1 E. t9 Y( }4 Y. v+ `5 h4 }But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 5 q6 s- q# E# G% e9 J4 ]+ u3 Z) A' x* b; U# D
"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. % p' b7 C1 s( e" [* ? # \; M$ G( V9 y% R"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. F1 n! t6 o, r! c
+ K, Q4 P' r$ d! b- a" f% e) ~"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." ) }# b( Y# f4 h 5 J; n6 e: y& O4 w( j7 d W! ?Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. R9 M6 X7 g; k8 t. m
. a% B4 P+ m0 ?& F& \1 YTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. ( x' `) n* n$ d# U. _" s+ N- v c: L% L) Y
They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 4 ] V. I+ d0 @9 v8 K/ H

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 8 w0 j' m: ?8 i9 M
% C/ \; Y0 H8 C, m% B1 u; iMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 3 C) V: L5 S- K4 a6 Q% s

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." " C4 i. ~% R) z. @ 1 |0 f" u/ j5 v& u4 ?3 T( CHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
