But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. 5 [+ ~/ r' Y2 V7 R1 h7 ^3 T) P) M

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. 5 o3 _" f& W) H6 Q1 k, Z
% n8 \1 m7 k$ E2 h"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. ' S4 d% \# |8 z: c O1 o% G( Q " m7 n1 e1 Q1 X0 \% O"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." $ W$ g& I; P! B! J* ?% g
S$ b5 b( P& W) qThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. Z% S* Q# m0 [3 l" j0 \! g5 j* v 0 k2 p- k' I8 E# f( ^# CTheir oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 3 g. X. v2 g% b- R( } ( U: F5 k7 Q: F7 w3 r3 fIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. ; a2 p. F0 ?* q( p* @7 D 6 q' k+ }: X( U5 Y2 t' F/ \& SThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. ; s% F' R! I5 |2 I 6 L7 m* M+ R1 R" p e- }She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. ; N# |% P: Y" s+ \0 K
' Y0 d. m) G$ Q9 WMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 5 o) A$ E ?4 t9 y) B# g 8 k$ B- v. X; t+ V7 h% D a$ lBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 8 ~* l0 O) M! u4 w9 P+ [: B

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." % G% r* `' F6 B5 D$ ?3 m7 W6 P

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. ) c& h( Y) z7 q8 ]4 a* H% Q3 i. a
8 v$ b7 a W# M l5 l5 l1 JTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. & `* v: N! y3 ?+ _6 [
. U/ P2 d: \* o' BThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 1 U& T g) ?0 ]1 I

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 6 y2 |& q+ r% d K' y; w

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. ! D; ?4 ]* p( z9 e5 t 2 i- E8 @7 r; B1 x3 D- o7 {' q"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 2 ]3 }& m5 w% Y# i$ w

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
