4 v4 W6 t* @# s, g/ FBut, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. - U' ^2 w7 ?, M5 k4 [
/ b' Q7 a, f7 jLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. / `% k8 Q# O2 }% w3 i, v: V
0 M2 c) W4 H$ \6 X5 G"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 0 X7 m; m6 R& j" i) T9 u
, j8 k# f- n, Y9 C0 S8 m9 `9 O+ L
"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." / t* o+ T2 c d! f6 k# M5 O) z

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. ' a/ H) f* G' |7 r # \3 i2 @ C& S. jTheir oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. + ^+ @0 X) X: S+ U- E
& }# s0 h3 q9 O5 H* OAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 6 S* G" e5 n4 o
) A$ A& Z+ [5 l2 h" EIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. : y: c* B6 ~, Z8 V3 [ 0 V% i6 r. ~2 p) rThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 1 h) X% v; X$ I# `6 V3 g' G5 x, h9 d% l: z4 L' M6 ]
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. ' g# g* ~( c: w3 j# z& e, C% H+ G2 Y) ~3 m
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 0 d3 ^. c6 \8 Y9 t* j$ {8 \4 F f3 p5 q( n: n; B t9 A5 n Z; N
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. & I, C0 k* F5 W- z S# j- E0 k$ R
, ^& B& x/ r; Z! _! a"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. ( v! ^6 u% y( q. c |0 @& }/ e6 ^) C- l
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. / ?4 Z+ `8 ]2 H M2 F% F, V2 T7 N! F; Y/ B; |3 {; ?
"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." & g9 H9 j: U8 }! j2 a0 F/ _" T$ x$ t. i0 L1 A
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 1 ?, _5 j% v5 \+ L
5 E" `6 g( o1 i! C- m$ Y8 eTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. # d" y. ~" M8 d- e7 W# ]
a/ Q# x5 [% n1 b+ X. mThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. % |( X. r, D. ]3 S2 l# ?" E3 n7 m% x
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. ( V5 \/ a1 ~" {2 C( c6 E( U+ a5 A6 h! d/ A
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. $ m( a( y$ b0 q y$ O) d- Q( `/ C
"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." ' l9 g, W! x0 c/ N+ { 9 {& y4 d9 k" ?; T/ u$ W" d# BHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
