After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete. . T4 o9 t2 Q$ a7 a2 N) c7 a) d0 B1 |$ `8 ~) o% s
But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. & B& r" t: i; F; ~ B. e' M + A- N3 V* p8 j' Y( D/ o( M! _+ ~Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. : G5 M- |; x& Q+ h+ l
/ H/ i5 X; C% x; r# b4 u4 N+ z* ] b
"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. \4 V1 k8 l! d o) l

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 2 K+ x" q4 {6 r + S9 N9 z( a5 G8 G9 i) V7 E! D& JThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. / ]6 z$ p' t1 }) [2 k( C; n+ f+ }, ^, M$ Q$ h- F- H3 L
Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 0 S P! }2 y$ k, o & ?& k( P( h' l2 TAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 3 _" b# j b. m8 L: J/ n ! F0 a; X- d3 j' g3 o" h1 BIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. ( G; r2 S( E2 |5 ^ n; B
" d& S! C; t: ~- ]1 J. D6 f( tThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 8 |: A& M# n# b( [3 S& h% M
/ V4 ^7 }3 K# M/ M
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 7 w) |% o/ U# |
9 r- Z# X# _, q! F) Y* {2 J
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. & _* `5 f$ s! C1 Y2 N
4 g/ Q) m% X" T" iBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 2 N- S) Q8 m9 q2 l" k " k7 f- y. F& b3 e; O$ b"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. & B, w& {9 ?, L }3 u# c6 q + v; y5 |4 ] Y3 M3 s"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. 9 m. |% l' u4 j- J( A8 t* h
% k1 ?! a$ ?+ ^4 t
"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 4 Z1 E& \8 R2 L7 l, u8 p7 e+ c/ j% S( d4 g
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 8 U) E! c2 b* z' |: f5 T! @; @5 E( v

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. " |5 ]# `- k' h# a( d |! f# k
2 J4 s. H" ^4 b$ d. e: t7 VThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. $ {% ~6 x( o p1 k
, k5 s/ U5 ]' g, b5 c. m4 {2 ZThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 1 U6 V, C, c' R/ i9 v7 g B. y

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 6 I& o" S9 n: ]( b" j
6 E" W. d+ B6 u$ s4 M"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 9 s& X0 C/ ^2 N. R0 R( @ g" l% p# R# }% z" Z: X1 ]
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
