今年45岁的沃里纳与现年32岁的“好生养”太太雷娜，育有6女3子（包括3胞胎女儿），最大的9岁，最小的还未满月。结婚时他们协议生6个，没想到越生越高兴，雷娜坦言自己已经“生上瘾”。 - x' `7 g2 ^& Q2 N/ ~, u2 q

; R% e ^- H+ q3 m 小生命带来快乐，但是，照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时，要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍，工作量比一般主妇多几倍，一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了，也很少见朋友，但是，沃里纳说：“这个家是我们的命根，我不觉得缺乏什么。” 9 {" h7 }5 S4 w0 p9 R' I1 `, R t- u2 p

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. : k$ W t8 n% Q+ s7 L7 ^9 M5 @" H

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. - l( _# \" r, w6 y, `

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." . `- [$ C2 @5 ^5 E( ?; X. q0 U) ]+ m0 M
The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. . s* f* Z2 A( L' p: } + ?; o7 u2 T8 _* ATheir oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. & N7 j; q! j7 d+ c% s# {

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. % T7 K6 G5 e! f8 O; o' ^3 g! R

In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. & z: a% {7 ~) d
$ q0 ~6 `5 y2 ~8 z3 Z% [ `: A+ N1 TThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 6 ?$ U% b% F7 A( I/ ~+ n6 @ $ O; O8 S* j! SShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. . w: \% I! r* s 1 `; \9 r0 V; o- v7 nMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 7 |" O: y; r( ~+ d0 s$ j, A
& N! A- n4 o9 Y& {. ~& qBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. . h" Z" a- n" E

"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. 5 {) v. d1 T9 K7 |& w0 O' c7 W6 X( I' Y2 V* E4 | O
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. ) m- I0 q) H0 \& H0 d

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." * G: k, k3 x1 ]5 J* b4 s5 L3 O1 v4 r# Z/ v( L# r0 J1 i
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 8 {1 q) ~' N W" M9 F9 @ 8 \$ T2 M; D) |% u. ^6 tTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. * L3 I& S& T- t6 q) f

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. ( z% w2 ?. ]* V- c. K
, \2 Q2 ^, e# s3 j& M1 TThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. & R- F0 v. s2 P) N$ ` % s; I* t' ~' M' NMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. ' b1 \: T4 Y3 J9 S2 C2 n$ ` 5 o. S, S$ R4 F. c% y- E"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." ; X+ {5 m% }" A! ^+ h
7 e0 J7 w& Y% d9 nHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
