今年45岁的沃里纳与现年32岁的“好生养”太太雷娜，育有6女3子（包括3胞胎女儿），最大的9岁，最小的还未满月。结婚时他们协议生6个，没想到越生越高兴，雷娜坦言自己已经“生上瘾”。 * i% ~/ G/ F$ B! o. N; N8 y/ \' P; i# R3 d: _8 p2 k

小生命带来快乐，但是，照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时，要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍，工作量比一般主妇多几倍，一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了，也很少见朋友，但是，沃里纳说：“这个家是我们的命根，我不觉得缺乏什么。” ; N) K+ C2 r( D# ]

After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete. ' A8 h1 s, a( b9 X' J& n3 l5 ]5 Q7 C v5 c L
But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. ) r( d: W5 V4 s" R' ]* R* o: i7 k7 G; X, x
Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. 2 I3 M/ r0 w; @ * p1 D$ A% `0 w) ?"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 7 Q" l4 h! ~, k9 h1 B7 V( R8 U

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 6 q A4 z7 i: R! t: Z# v; Y3 a% h q- U& ]+ g) Y5 U6 l. g
The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. 4 D! ^* |1 S! q4 S" K
S# e/ j: ~% M0 B: bTheir oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 1 E f" b* k; @+ t
' M6 V4 A2 D; R# sAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 1 ?9 ~# w, T/ ?' m" B k
* i5 P( A0 h+ y- E- k1 SIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. % q8 x+ ]4 F) c 6 Z }. c9 B7 e- a$ QThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 9 L( x7 ~4 x. H2 u" n. S
/ t/ P" H+ e( zShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. - L1 V' C6 R$ e# t& ]8 B
. o2 y% V5 j; XMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. % c3 q) d6 k+ b$ o. q1 z2 E) O: N( D9 ?2 {- X0 [& b
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 0 T5 i o% e$ H- [+ E. |9 @ ) ]; |* ?& s+ @( T2 I"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. ; h! t8 c& }' b% r* |

"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. : G: Y( D5 r# `. U5 y3 @$ J6 i; K* d, J6 A
"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 8 \* P5 M5 ^7 T5 y8 m3 y7 ~7 k- e Z& e8 Q; T, p1 M
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. - t- T% k/ f2 l y. W, f9 B# `
5 z1 ]9 L8 \8 i6 \To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 2 I @* q$ i5 ?. U% [8 Y/ l
# y( K% @. l; C5 ~" Z3 a* R; FThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. . b; T; O6 w8 W4 h# g- E

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. $ w) |% O7 N0 T. f) @$ m, @* h* X% W0 d# ?- { d5 i9 V& o
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 3 L4 B3 T( R4 [/ q7 i+ f8 ?6 J

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." . W) A) n5 T% r: |& d, P+ X! x5 C3 q/ T! ]% Q# V# d( U
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
