"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. - `$ f! G6 W' Z2 G0 m

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 5 S. w8 _3 f& w( Z" [' B

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. ! \7 C" U/ l, d0 h9 N4 n, ^+ Q! _% |

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. e& S; N7 Q7 W' N8 \% q9 m5 j1 o5 O& }4 {& c
Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. : H- e, F( o0 P% R2 r) ~* Q' _6 Z6 c! i0 ^+ n$ P* ~9 F) ^9 c, F
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. " d9 C& k& `. P! q8 l q( M% }

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 7 e$ l3 d! X+ s* O% r" e1 _4 ^8 @4 b( B8 b4 O$ G
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. ! C' p- t/ k. u" X

Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. . x7 ]+ ?5 r3 i# }1 N6 s$ v; U! T6 L* B+ a
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. + i5 i; F5 h6 ]4 ]7 O6 x7 q4 e7 @3 ~3 [( q
"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. 2 f# b7 Z1 U$ ^+ D; h4 i

"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. ; m! U5 q% w- b7 A' C- _1 L4 A; A; x# E+ X- i1 n
"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." $ K. E8 I( R6 R, v) R1 o& O$ Y9 u6 l4 I/ G! [
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. " b& y5 r7 @2 \4 R$ B7 C

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. - b- N2 w O4 R4 N/ p; E, o$ ]" j. f2 E- `$ s- f' y1 P
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. * `$ `6 c+ M" m4 R7 j$ d1 D1 v5 ?- f/ P0 w
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. ' F/ c8 c5 A( ?8 t 1 R' H- F6 D. M' {"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 0 z$ a1 o) n0 T$ l0 W+ @8 B$ l- Q3 A7 K! b7 l4 B ^% D: ] r
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
