"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 9 s% A3 F2 R$ o b, v
& d2 d$ t; C6 fThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. 3 O5 o3 ]/ y: u7 p6 a1 C& ^7 n# G' T5 h( a$ i
Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. , d2 @- ~8 P. m: q9 o3 Z1 U! h . k' N- e$ {( W& c% @Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 6 d3 _) u; P$ e0 c# z4 S8 K. u9 D) y" ]! In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 9 N8 O: C% j. J ?1 G5 h/ e/ ?7 h$ |9 w$ q# | j }
Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 9 o! ~- f$ p5 Y! O7 ]
6 D* K9 m* e) W) {* ^9 q) A% C/ @She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 1 U* N9 X7 z0 J s
* m. u! ^" ?/ [* }$ A4 S H* \$ nMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. . c& Z0 s6 M# z6 L
) M' h: M' }! g5 wBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. q; s: |2 ]7 e& b" z# I

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." ) k7 @& F; W- c9 n- G! Q5 f( e0 P" I0 e; v) }1 q! b! P
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. " c2 o% v. C% Q* ]( D' o) G: U2 A$ B5 G
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. . |8 q3 J4 w4 D0 v8 W3 o
3 F( {/ k+ B- {4 J$ G! xThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. ) d5 q$ a ]+ M7 X, K( S+ y3 F x
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. : ]7 v5 y8 u' _6 s E+ q; i [7 G- _* S" VMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. ; Y+ j3 ]' t# I
& X) K( g$ W2 |"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." * W: g3 b; z& K5 K. Y * o( p# B: g0 s4 S& O3 KHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
