"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 2 I* p4 f4 u# a S9 A4 Z

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. 0 y' h/ ^$ M+ w M" D% a$ b7 m

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. $ j; s; A' N( D+ K1 k

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. ) N9 R8 o5 j7 d# ?2 N# P 5 g) U/ @, g. `( @% NShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. ! n: Q2 U8 U# ?, M# V3 g

Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 0 U7 _* M% Y3 l+ C- j S, ~% I6 Z % f7 ]) D- J- r+ i6 X8 s' m/ TBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 1 P! "We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. ! `6 h' |" {( s: ]+ f$ y/ @

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 4 ]7 Z5 m/ t# K$ r& y# ?" Z 1 c0 C# c \* N' J3 v( mMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 9 n* h3 a' K* `' [/ k% I/ [; Z$ T" }$ F9 {& j
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. - C# O( y4 W" z# e4 x0 _1 I3 G/ t
3 q& v1 H3 t) [' G' @' l: TThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. : {: e9 J0 D5 R' C. Z7 y
' Z9 |+ U% C, j0 z. h5 ^- kMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 4 B* j- E' c! L7 b: ?; ^+ \; w3 `4 t( b2 Q* j2 t, Z
"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." . ~7 J9 `% H! K2 D7 V8 k" @: B, P" w6 s2 v* a4 E
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
