小生命带来快乐，但是，照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时，要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍，工作量比一般主妇多几倍，一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了，也很少见朋友，但是，沃里纳说：“这个家是我们的命根，我不觉得缺乏什么。” ( w) e0 a. o$ w0 l0 z! w+ D9 _ y: D4 k- C3 e+ p

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. % V! Q/ {& P" P0 j& a& g9 S. W# v0 s O1 Z' L
"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. $ N4 N# W/ W; B, {# s/ F

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." $ J7 @- c& {$ h# J& r' L! c1 I

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. 7 ]' X3 v" ]/ k* _; P% b; f: H n7 r6 \8 J R- WTheir oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. % X3 f) ^3 { T% d1 ^: g+ t( x7 r7 S7 ~$ [" h) c# H1 C
Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. + x8 I, h$ V# Q8 J% j9 o% O4 F0 z+ i, |3 T1 F# c( p
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 2 y) f0 s, t: i/ P

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. ; w% k: H' q O9 c" P1 F ; V! l" U' v* g L3 DShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. % C+ `0 F* w! [ 5 B8 r; S. C' _6 ^, A5 g$ DMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. ' M9 v" z8 \( Y S! y& O# X 5 ^0 H/ @6 @! h) RBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 1 H7 h% y' }- }8 i$ {" U9 ^ * Z R# W/ h1 N2 @, w; ~"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. & [) V9 M" z; z+ X `' V

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." # Q7 M3 s# \- k+ r; t& j. \! }2 ?" Z0 k( C+ _, i
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. ' o9 }* f# c* j

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. ) A3 G1 z ^8 {) m/ @) w
; W& x2 O" g. ?7 O# J3 s) V& J0 eThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 6 K' e! C& g; b, i( C f' G3 n& v' T, Q. b
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. & E* m( w8 @" v/ O 0 y# P! `8 G, |, AMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 7 B* t* y- B% H& C$ x

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." ; W; w1 ]& T2 @% W* ]" c; T

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
