小生命带来快乐，但是，照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时，要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍，工作量比一般主妇多几倍，一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了，也很少见朋友，但是，沃里纳说：“这个家是我们的命根，我不觉得缺乏什么。” # e6 v: x5 ~) y4 R' i9 _# \! Y% y' O- }# e

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 6 s0 n Y1 s9 u4 W7 [

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." ( Y- a O! b9 N+ \* b + ~& L' K- Y# |9 ]/ _4 S& hThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. & x. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. % I3 O: N2 A" l
$ Z8 F7 R e, fAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. # l6 B+ {: j% f8 B
' X" N6 O$ u* {& }5 q
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. `. M j3 e# `- i9 e, U9 m% g5 ]( H" ?, [+ E$ W
Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. ' Y7 h. \& H& c2 s P& G: E9 {) s* H0 E+ gShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 8 w- m1 C! s4 c6 m- z# G2 y4 Y* y6 t& k; o2 n6 W) r2 e: l1 D- P
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 1 i) D: m1 D' Z9 o8 B; v

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 0 n; k, e$ E4 F# ]8 R: E' p( I& X) B# ^8 y% j) H) \5 F2 U
"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. # c7 m r6 h2 J5 Y W

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 4 O5 t8 O- \& Q' F0 Q. Q
r# B3 d' f5 V# e# kMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. : e( |' U5 `/ h3 F& D7 g1 s& O
' u( V6 i7 e4 s6 r0 hTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. / K$ q7 E- S9 K$ s% \% a+ x* P0 K- L
They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 2 L, d0 W- I. b9 v9 Z( f, {

O4 p* G$ N& OThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 2 n4 w& {# b/ p8 ~ % J/ P/ C) e8 O/ z$ e0 |Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. "We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 4 d% E5 M0 G- W( d( L5 ~1 M$ e. r; u1 W7 U5 ^
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
