 (每日邮报讯)生一队足球队,不是天方夜谭,住在英国伯恩茅斯镇的沃里纳夫妇快将做到,因他们9年来已生了9个小孩。

) J9 x3 h; b  Q: {5 U( n  今年45岁的沃里纳与现年32岁的“好生养”太太雷娜,育有6女3子(包括3胞胎女儿),最大的9岁,最小的还未满月。结婚时他们协议生6个,没想到越生越高兴,雷娜坦言自己已经“生上瘾”。

3年没有放假 每天洗衣4遍

  小生命带来快乐,但是,照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时,要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍,工作量比一般主妇多几倍,一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了,也很少见朋友,但是,沃里纳说:“这个家是我们的命根,我不觉得缺乏什么。”

4 x/ j, {% I8 C1 bBut, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. 4 \, d4 w2 H: E" G( H3 C' ]

: }# X: v9 L+ C! U- x' S, L- KLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. * H( }% }$ [; V6 m  v

- C( C1 p6 P5 n! d6 E7 H"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 2 B  O1 l! d8 f9 _' S

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much."

: D% F/ F1 |# _# X2 ]# uThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits.

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six.

4 w5 K' z* s& e1 D! U" ?Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 4 _5 D% p! k/ r# P+ e) A3 K

, G- B/ a9 _$ x. k( d  }* d9 hIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months.

  u1 G" n" n/ ]Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset.
/ W; j% ?/ J& ~' p, O$ e9 T7 G
% F6 U/ r- x: w! z7 VShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. ! `& j9 A+ n4 l- }3 @: G$ F6 X
6 S$ `, H9 R9 ?4 d% U+ o& J7 \6 r, Y
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. & i5 T4 R$ H: K( ]: F: ]$ X

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood.

# Y1 j: P; y, p% n  z3 v8 u; N"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes.

"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure.
' h8 b. n  v* i& h! H% [2 u9 ?' F! A' x2 n3 B7 G! W
"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now."

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories.

9 x) e7 |6 p/ P- A1 Q1 e( A, W+ hTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house.
% e) q) O% M5 z; ]6 s- P' a7 Q9 Q/ O% W1 r# q$ N# T" G8 O
They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. % x- m8 s0 [$ [* P

# j" R- Z+ h/ i2 _! J/ zThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. " k. K! q' t1 Y# M9 a9 U# x1 l

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight.

7 i+ F! q7 F/ n2 T  E% m8 ~* h"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." ) S& O2 r( M. A$ l8 r% s
) Y; m* C/ o/ g& z
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
