But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. . G% @/ o1 Y* K : U& O% S1 J9 C# }0 N3 Z0 J. KLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. " a- p' g/ Q8 j/ P R
# G: C9 U- z# a: ]; }6 k+ X"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. + o: I2 U4 ?) x0 H- l0 ? & ]% @& A7 O9 a1 q/ V9 N( h"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." ( K' y5 u) E1 y5 E: x- i8 I. P
The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. ' s7 t7 y8 A$ ?0 ]

In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. ; I% V) Z. q L9 W: M & B8 N- q+ l L, X& ?2 _Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. . o ^* N x% W
0 E9 [% P4 w! G, b( k6 p, {She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 0 |6 k6 V; m) @" H7 t+ W. r3 K; K8 N, B' a0 S1 q1 R: e7 Y
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. : i) }: R! B7 y( x0 q7 E- N2 l. S& `6 z
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. ( x; N8 `2 ?8 }6 ~( u, j+ d/ x

"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. 2 t, ^2 y p, O% F3 F3 Q
$ ^" ?- K- Z) a! c' P"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. 9 h( Q6 {8 |8 T! }2 Y 8 r1 l& y1 } W4 v"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 0 J A( T- m: G3 `) Q" o( h' e# @' j; K
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. $ n6 }! B+ @, m3 b0 b5 g) i! S" d: Y; N& x - E2 K5 e* v) b+ Q! T$ NThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. ! ?% [3 ^6 X D" q# l; H + l* z1 }$ W+ k, m. E# f' TThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. + E# x: G: K, c; R9 z$ y# V3 ]5 s, I9 D

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. ' j/ J6 C: T) `: X9 g. B. g% W1 S2 [: W+ t+ m7 v
"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." - h0 i4 _, q5 \& L; }* l # k! G J/ @& m8 n1 i& X) LHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
