今年45岁的沃里纳与现年32岁的“好生养”太太雷娜，育有6女3子（包括3胞胎女儿），最大的9岁，最小的还未满月。结婚时他们协议生6个，没想到越生越高兴，雷娜坦言自己已经“生上瘾”。 5 A e/ y2 {8 G9 \+ N' s. x4 `4 V- a$ G& ]9 v9 A

小生命带来快乐，但是，照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时，要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍，工作量比一般主妇多几倍，一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了，也很少见朋友，但是，沃里纳说：“这个家是我们的命根，我不觉得缺乏什么。” # B2 ?: @! R( h0 d( s0 F1 d6 Y; n$ {% T0 O8 B# t0 b& _ \) L

But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. 6 E! b: R1 M4 _% ]2 D" O/ Q6 ] 7 Z& I' w4 Q" E o9 E. L% R* {Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. - e; S9 ]$ v7 s" j

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. # Z& H% |; s0 X } $ A) d5 T e4 R2 g"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 6 C0 m- X, H+ G( b5 U7 K

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. ' `5 i; L( ^1 _% l+ b 1 |( b8 Q% W& E% |7 z I ?Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. ! f1 _/ Q; C, U! B# u
/ w# p) i' a5 |In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 1 y/ h9 P0 T2 a! [8 [
& h; W' h! q) }* o \% ?Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 5 n" o3 M% V I( F8 q0 a* j( B0 c+ G & z' K% n6 _8 g- RShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. B0 O3 |: k% Q4 n2 b( Y* h
* u" }6 u4 b d. H6 qMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 3 V: F1 R3 U% h% R/ _# F8 J0 g

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 4 L" e P: {6 F% R% a' ], T1 v ; `1 _1 y n8 |# P3 j* q"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. - B% i5 T" M+ c3 M % K) V5 X2 A& N x"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. / F1 r. " Z6 u3 \4 C( P/ m! a# J! n"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." : F# Q; y$ A: t! ] 4 o+ V! [- L4 R: L+ P( m" O& y8 |Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 4 r1 _6 b9 s: p6 u3 @
0 L7 l, N/ E1 M, I& h1 MTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 0 ~7 C7 ? L) y+ D {! g. o3 K1 N: \2 e
They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. % d( ~7 @& t/ D1 _' E , R& i% G6 O3 h* t+ K4 E# N0 FThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. , l: ?3 V6 Y; i

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 6 }8 a7 e ]# F% l$ n 1 l. e) }+ k' @2 p7 _, t1 K* r, i"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." - j; f% ^( i# t4 Z1 n- C& z& J9 C

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
