Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. $ ^- p0 q3 \$ m. e
3 F0 m# G* ^ J6 cShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. $ b# X# Y6 o. b% Q ~
+ S7 W+ X/ [) S; N% `Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. : e- q2 T! i8 l% R1 I3 Y' E' R3 b1 G7 y
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 7 {9 Y* C& [7 K3 a/ O

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." % D5 Y( c9 D5 M, p! Y" n/ R2 N A* O4 Y/ }$ ~- iMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. ; ~* `- S2 g. G: n $ n3 w: _; U, u- qTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 2 N U* h+ e# t+ z3 [3 f

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. . R8 I9 T- }: o$ Z1 t( q0 m 7 z4 _2 y2 z _& M" }" [, L6 _7 M) FThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 3 h) r6 z& i% u% K) m4 B0 |* T 6 \5 g# I+ ^( F \4 \5 H- W3 mMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight.
