! b1 V# B- Z' m, r# sAfter having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete. / r3 h+ B6 V. y* o& ^( I j5 q , d2 y8 p4 e9 Q+ E) U2 `But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. + D$ g8 L h/ k) Q' m; M% O

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. - y0 {1 ?8 K( Y# n5 P- W1 Q3 l - N6 ^' Y, u- W0 |"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. - R( w* ^( D7 ^. S2 v0 s$ ?
$ \6 R7 { T0 c9 L l% d9 l9 C"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." + d* ?/ h' y1 G* s' ~( J& j6 Y) H* \ 6 E, ~/ x! i) m" t9 ]The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. 3 h/ P/ g: W4 C% s) r( e U, A. ~. O6 K) N. g
Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. : o% i! R1 @. M; Y. n: l+ a9 z

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 5 J) o6 p4 [6 a5 N- X" ~/ ?$ o' N/ n% F* }8 D( d2 u
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 7 {3 K) p4 }: X9 ]4 x4 |# M5 P; ]. I- v. K( a' p4 s
Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. ( W/ o1 k% h! E6 ? ^ x* h; S" f/ _/ `) c4 VShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 0 t" B: S: [+ E7 A# U2 k 8 U1 }* f# h( f. a' EMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 4 l9 }- c5 Y, F* \- e9 f% e' E" \ $ K$ v/ x% X; N" y5 Z( y JBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 3 ?" H/ g2 a' @ }3 }% d' N- v/ S" g5 p9 Z6 G
"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. ) m3 P$ i8 o- u4 t& _

"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. 6 ^/ ^6 D% q$ j1 K+ Q
- h9 v9 R" Y# \+ y' S9 Q- w; a"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." + h* j5 h% k3 d9 d) O
+ B; E- d `. b; K# x2 aMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 7 V. z7 B& D1 a/ V% r! e0 F
, t& Y7 @$ _$ U( H0 NTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 8 M) B- L! k: ]" y
+ {+ B8 y" a4 m3 X) Y2 KThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. + c" Q. C/ ^; I3 |" w! Z# c! I
3 c) n# r6 g' cThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. + h5 d! M/ }$ e' h$ h0 y 8 T* ~8 p9 T. P4 [- PMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. ) ^3 B6 a# U( G' J
* _' Z. W9 u+ D! O, L! b( [6 f* k
"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." / H; q6 W ~4 M/ O2 V! g; D1 W1 x9 |7 H) G- p; ?
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
