Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. 8 n$ J( j- I8 T; ^# o

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. : C) f% Y) @: T- R% G

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." ' ^2 l8 e% j; v

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. ! q; {9 k( S' X5 E+ i' k1 J+ r* J; q4 Y7 x/ T3 K( M
Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. + _# I1 t. t% l
- f0 [. S* S$ |9 W4 S" ]Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. " z3 Q8 {* u( K# D, u6 L* D 0 _0 p" c' i/ f4 b2 ^$ s8 h- DIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. ; i# b# Z$ ~2 j; @! _; a 7 X2 {3 q5 h" V" ?Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 7 p4 {7 W4 U6 o% W% _2 r6 ]9 }9 }, L: D! She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. + a& E8 }! F0 j
- P3 ?1 l, \3 s# G% K# w! b
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 7 x* \) Y/ h: W9 ^5 h3 L: T8 ^
X7 b4 q8 u5 ?9 l! G) K" e, _But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. + S0 G# k- E1 E0 B' i5 f- m7 Y

"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. # L& r* d& T+ F! @ X) r, c0 n' a3 f

"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. 5 t$ a3 O0 i5 Q ( X5 {2 ]7 o- L1 g"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." . J* X2 {0 o: |& t: B9 M

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 3 m0 o, |# [3 h* A

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 4 ~) q r- F. b; {% f5 e9 [8 \7 ~. B( O7 L6 e+ c: Z
They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. / i/ F# c2 |7 o6 C( F0 V: F

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 7 z2 ]" M6 E* n# N: [ " X3 R7 r( q# Z, u% ~! P# {Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 5 z/ r% H1 ]- i% S* u3 X; K7 S"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." ; Q6 l( q+ ~7 r7 Z, |3 ^2 {- Z% O & p; c+ S) u; o# pHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
