"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." : B! a1 u3 Z$ x 8 i9 }- X w% q& Z6 a7 XThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. ( C! F; q/ I9 g9 V( ^' [) P1 x% F: s
+ Y: Q* \. A4 X) D6 \Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. : `8 n7 o4 k1 @1 q& q( h9 Q

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. : U3 {' b" g. }8 }) x+ [# H

Y0 C8 r, | _9 sMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 2 Y. {& u* [5 P; | 2 S" t: |% R& S5 QBut despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. "When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." , f; V2 Q; k5 I$ P9 W6 y7 V$ T U0 @0 B- i
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 3 \% `) k' `* L; n+ A* w
5 b1 {" P8 w: T7 o& ^To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. . j" n2 K" a' t

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 9 N" D- E7 r) `

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. ( b$ G' {' V) ~. R7 B* a+ k- u" o. m4 x/ A) Q
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. + G! Z/ W0 c3 t* o5 X* I $ r! f V* i8 L4 f; u5 O+ h"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 3 u2 a V( v) A D$ A- \0 g( l: m7 ]$ o
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
