But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. 0 m/ p4 A: K; j1 p9 D+ T 7 D6 g& g- W5 C$ [+ [9 @Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. , x! X [0 Z& T0 V

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. + h; w0 A* B. n7 S& b

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 4 L: Q3 I4 G t$ k/ G ) d" `3 M4 N' LThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. g( O0 A9 \: g" _, n/ C, U/ o
+ u# @- V2 x9 G: {$ _& r1 eTheir oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. * s. E' w# G2 y

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. " r1 m! U- Q, p( [. S3 { [/ b " ]% k# Y# r& [! f DIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. ) _1 D6 G5 @0 w' |& S + s+ s" H6 u( p$ |8 [Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. & b' V5 S- }" N K6 w# |$ ?, K# z
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 0 C- k) G+ D5 p& Q; A+ t& z8 Q; ^. {: e
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 4 Y' x; m! }" l& v' i+ t! _ @0 J7 J' @ b
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 3 K9 A/ h; d6 A& _$ A7 p ; Y* f1 t/ Q, z"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. $ x3 b$ C* `, w, r% v+ }5 S R3 y) b- {
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. : r9 {6 I# h5 y" E. u( x3 K

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." : o J6 Y9 B' b0 n9 y
L! U9 }7 K. z% XMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. ; I% K/ r+ ^4 R8 u" t& W* I$ L3 F
5 m! F1 x) f- Z2 H- d- YTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. & V, T4 M6 N( O$ R) `

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 8 N: L/ q7 J' {; X$ f2 D( h# _

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 3 ~& M* z" q6 `7 y# r* a

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. . F! {2 A9 }1 i6 O
7 a& j2 \: B! L( y; X"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." / s+ V: l# X# @' K% h, U" R' { + K( ?$ c: l& Q6 C4 N, H* V! u; lHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
