After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete. . W c( Z( \( w; _" Z1 I3 ? - s K( k) w( }But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. $ b' j& A; ~+ w5 j
/ H) \& D. W G. m5 M& Q8 @4 nLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. 3 Y% l! r1 v1 m5 m " K( ^; d# d( M( _. b- N9 N"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. ) s1 C0 Y) ^! y6 g7 u& p8 A7 k/ Z
"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." ( p5 N9 p4 `0 q
0 X3 ]7 y8 C u+ ]5 b& UThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. : H4 e, c! |# C' g% T% c8 _' @$ o Q) y; }) V$ K8 q7 F5 z' o5 O
Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. ; B# {' w+ @- M9 }
5 o$ m" P3 H; E, _Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 5 v$ N; ?( t! u/ O4 l5 o 4 p; l6 e. m/ q- y- JIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 7 X; m, k( C6 E
3 h" c# r' b& S4 O4 OThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 0 z+ ^. C+ s4 u# w9 n/ e 0 a' }; t) S5 _1 M N# bShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 7 n- u3 v* k( v b8 {( ~! M , J, T- R* q" R6 ~ c8 [& jMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. ) ~, Q5 R# ~" m : ?. Q N8 ?) _But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. % Z4 Q) i1 y5 j" U5 E
# U4 S4 O# q& D" |"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. 8 A4 \5 ~/ o, L( t* k4 ~+ R( H4 U8 I" `3 |
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. ! }* Y+ X, g5 }; b
; b' t! h6 \& c2 @) k( F"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." ( d9 \$ ]8 H/ B6 L/ |3 @$ k, ~9 e
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 5 L1 x% ~5 L p; b: J8 L5 x% O# _* \( ]: \7 K- v
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. ( ?* V$ Z3 a8 X( M- J5 h
9 Q2 f* G$ M: E' nThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. ) J* I9 x# z/ o2 c; @ " T+ q& ^" ?) L( E' MThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. . X- v/ y" f2 {1 D! K* `) ?2 S6 V6 U0 A6 K5 u7 Z
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. $ P7 g- J- ~% [" @6 k6 `! i& g
' ~/ x" n' Y0 D$ i6 H3 e
"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 0 A/ e/ _7 z% b6 l

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
