But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. 0 y) j6 x" b- ~; y6 Y
: n4 C( o, G+ mLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. ! q" Z6 ?( f5 i2 S6 |0 E. k& U
% w) L6 G! ]9 @1 F2 `"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. ! S5 o/ U; A v8 R, }. L8 I# a3 Z
U( G0 B/ i2 \5 k/ M1 F/ R- c
"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 6 Y8 ]8 Q$ w0 H* k; b 8 F/ _3 X: h5 t7 E$ |9 HThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. : q0 r3 }, G. L4 s: j: i7 Q. ]# h) j
. \& s/ ~/ m$ E; GTheir oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. - n; B# D1 {# i6 M; P$ W) g# R$ K

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. j& q- k& n# u5 E( H1 @
- W, s! d e1 B9 t$ y; GIn March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. / o$ X3 o$ I( _ E# G* W/ A6 Q' r1 t5 V' e6 _; }& o
Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 3 n- G; x. M4 H4 a: p8 A2 g) r

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. ' | L* k1 u4 ^/ e" p. F$ v
) o* q+ y: u4 v. f* r0 [
Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. " [, h0 [: a: H& a
0 [/ i" p- o7 o5 ^! ?8 V3 `But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 3 ]; H- e& i5 k* B' U

"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. + b9 I7 b9 @) z+ \: G5 O2 Z$ M3 W, c) w+ g: V$ X3 M5 N! w( [- R
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. 0 N( ]* j1 q6 P3 m9 `

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 3 \ B: N$ |! z Z/ v! y

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 3 K$ ~0 o K' U1 j. E
. Z+ P* {( R' t/ ~% h
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. X) v( C$ h% d$ R' w* i) m

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. - k$ n4 `- o5 K! e, t) L4 U/ B+ ^1 \, ?4 M
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 1 N( }7 g, _9 W/ U% v) ~. e4 R: _* C- R/ h2 Z/ ]
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. $ p% I0 o( W& n3 r2 z9 c& v
4 F* j. s+ y5 K2 v6 w3 @2 {+ h
"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 6 _0 p" @; w& M
4 N8 E$ L3 {6 n
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
