But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. # h( [% m9 V% I/ c% e( R" j# H

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. ( ]# x/ L+ {+ R! r @
9 j' I; y/ Y* n+ Z8 u- L% [
"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. * \0 t" a1 u' A' h; Y! L6 a+ p
, U7 K( e& H- ~2 O"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." ( i. o }* S& U2 C& I K6 |# `. }8 b* GThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. - N; J# t& k n: {/ W- I, `$ f

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. ' t8 t7 f: b- D" t, n' c
' Z4 b. {7 h6 Q& sAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. % y+ L1 a2 F" y" p) W
* x8 O, ]# U2 U
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 9 F. s5 f0 {, u% b% r 8 i5 w. B7 m6 Z& `. q/ j+ E6 g% vThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. + U$ W% D/ @) @
1 H+ W2 b3 z" T5 @6 ?* s! V, j
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. ) @! c3 v2 S; F4 ?6 g% I/ |/ e
3 d/ g0 U, \. z% a) d3 D$ [Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 1 @. ]- j4 l9 e' _/ H+ ~

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. $ k l* z/ K% L1 k8 S6 c4 j8 m2 j, O; i, `$ N; g) h
"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. , z% Z- D' P: D3 x+ G5 E2 K4 @5 l1 R t. M2 D* e' V
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. ! r; h7 h& Q) q" u4 t 0 J/ K6 D3 `4 X$ E7 L% H) {* I \7 O"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." " E, B7 ]0 {5 B6 R5 B0 U2 t. ]' x, G
Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 1 Z! s, ?/ d6 L7 V 4 N2 n& w* [3 w/ pTo accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. ! m% Q* E- [1 t7 b% R' O9 a6 ^) }% y0 P! q/ t$ `8 i
They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. ( m% p B a7 S2 g7 e* Z% e+ t) a; h5 d n. [( s, }
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. : }+ b5 [6 X3 y* X6 Z5 d8 O5 S' e, O! l I) l9 K. S1 a3 m% Q `
Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 9 Z2 [1 \- W9 }8 \5 v; p) P+ C - W, y" z# N4 { i6 J"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." * ]. G! a, S L, u9 O/ |- G/ X) L
+ w5 t6 o* @+ Y( }% x8 A6 Y
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
