But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. + X, S7 p* ~4 q6 }6 z0 d5 D3 ` ' p' D) ~) A {% \6 ~" VLess than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. % w# e$ p4 a7 W, k; F
8 Y; C6 t5 F2 k8 \* m9 O
"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. # G4 z' h/ x, d, s* v+ n/ w r+ o4 ~9 G* B, s, x9 V( ~
"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." , h- \% h/ T& \* h* }5 b/ }4 }+ K4 q/ V2 b
The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. : Y% i/ Q ?: Q* v0 W8 G + D9 S X$ L( V1 D% fTheir oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. ( q9 a) Z3 a2 k; ^& |6 R
1 W, a# G9 o7 n; S- {Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 9 d( I; |3 m+ W5 f5 o" e% }( e' \6 D) _ 1 S2 y& [1 ^+ Y( Q+ ]) V% [In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. & m4 a2 L# T8 j# T* x) G

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 2 X. t; F0 q4 _0 p$ [5 {$ c$ V- b/ T* K# S/ `) N
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 9 X; Q, k5 {- L+ a( E 4 f2 @) G& T# m- y8 ^Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 0 `" H3 E5 U, M7 P! D

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. & ?" u I$ {6 e# d, D- k3 i

"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. ! j! a v+ F; ]: G$ q2 v% j* r: B& C
"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. 6 f$ w& x+ |# ?8 e( R: W" v
+ k g- f. o. _! S3 R6 L; O3 d"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." ( G3 q/ p. W' M! \: r+ D

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. & S$ s6 O! K* c% c: l; ? @6 f& m* B
2 f) z% k" e% F: B& `To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 6 f1 R& R# m7 f; o, i; Q7 W
1 N! G, H9 X6 U( k4 o; u7 [They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 5 n0 f" c$ h5 A; F" @
( O2 C0 R% ^5 E
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. ! ^! E# r ^0 `, A# E- B
& u$ m! \& R2 {Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. E+ i3 i8 o5 {, U: ~
( h- I0 V1 y" a9 {"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." ! I. w) C7 j/ E R+ B
9 F' E1 @8 o3 ?* sHe added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
