: e. d4 [4 p% l6 p! qAfter having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete. $ G9 h! f* x$ M" m+ f4 W' t. ^* p+ E' k( Y
But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill. 0 Q, O Q- b7 g

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby. 2 w5 P9 L& K2 @# m9 G
) T, F! |8 P3 P& ?"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. , v* q8 }+ ~2 S8 m5 g

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 5 O3 j- }0 H( r% v* o# v! p4 i" j

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. * R, w, M0 m; S) {5 @' p# o1 ^& Y0 L: L: c6 Z5 i* Z$ ^% k% M p
Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. " }' p% r) K" j9 v x9 C

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. ( x% N3 c( T, }. Q$ ^% T
5 N% u; W# H" w. n& w) d, ^
In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. 8 r+ U2 v$ L/ m* n Z ' b. L5 _: ], _0 p' wThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. * i, Q: u( w) o6 k% f4 A6 e8 {# V9 x% h& q1 G4 B
She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 2 C- w$ z7 J. n. B. H U; P% _1 ~ - f0 C5 q* E" c6 L3 ?9 qMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. , P: ]& _) O0 X0 d" `9 e9 [/ w( @0 i n% j) q
But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. # T0 q7 a9 b8 b: l# c$ W$ X6 D5 B6 r! Z* w) d; t7 Z& c4 c( O
"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. + ^" x8 s8 ^) |8 W6 y* F9 d

"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. , n" H( X/ K" F ' t6 n, A# @, E+ ]"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." 2 x( i$ C% h. s& z; U 0 G3 b1 q8 c& qMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. ! H; l3 {" R" l& o9 j2 c& I+ j& z) H" j/ `/ ^
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. N0 V' q; `2 i% B
2 y$ @: f. Z$ t# L( _" `( o- P
They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. - p, B$ D; @( O% W( u- j! f5 Y4 H; i
They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. 6 m+ |: v7 J8 Q8 z" d
" c- o% T$ {& f& o1 r- |( E" {Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. / E' a) D0 m9 R% r5 e4 K; J* U/ x7 l9 q: E( h7 C
"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." $ R$ j5 l& E! h6 k# H/ _8 w7 r6 k# T v. R# Q# M
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
