But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. 5 J w8 Q! @! m4 ~! F5 f

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." ' ]2 x! B; `4 U& j
% W+ s+ g$ K; \Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. , n6 e- I# F2 Q, Z( \5 x! Q% r6 H
( z8 W- R, C/ ~# l9 g7 Z) v2 ]To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. ' n+ F" T8 S. T. E& c

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." ' T) O9 H7 X, S( W7 J7 ^6 i: Q4 h5 F- o
He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
