Job description:
This role will be based in Bonn, supporting all HR sectors and reporting to Human Resources Manager of Deutsche Telekom Business Unit (DT BU).
Responsibilities:
-Conduct joining formalities for new employees and ensure all the documents and information needed are collected and forwarded to payroll within the given timeframe.
-Create new employee files and ensures that all filing is up to date.·
-Organize and coordinate training events on DT BU level.·
-Respond to the queries related to payroll and keep the payroll specialist/manager informed of any changes of employee’s information.·
-Coordination and implementation of employee referral program.·
-Maintain and track staff records for holiday and sickness absences and ensure payroll is informed in a timely fashion.·
-Organize interview schedules and follow-up and ensure that the interview comments are provided timely in writing by each interviewer. Support with maintaining the candidate database may be required.·
-Management of probationary process.·
-Maintenance of employee statistics and produce management reports on starters and leavers.
Requirements:
Suitable candidates must have experience of working within the HR Department of a large international company as well as possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational skills, be pro-active and have a willingness to learn, be a good team player and have the ability to work on their own initiative.Suitable candidates must be fluent in both English and German, written and spoken. In addition, as this role will liaise and communicate with Corporate HQ in China on a regular basis, being able to write and speak Mandarin is preferred.You will also be familiar with Microsoft Office, including Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. and ideally have experience of HR databases and producing reports. The ability to work across cultural and organizational boundaries and operate successfully in an intense business environment is required.
