The International Operations and IT department (eBusiness) of Alphabet Fuhrparkmanagment GmbH (a captive multi-brand fleet management company of The BMW Group) announces the opening of a 6 month management internship. The intern will manage the international continual process improvement program “Proceed,” and in addition, is expected to add value to the organization through creative application of talent and education. RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage harmonization and information flow of the Proceed project among Alphabet’s international business units • Coordinate country-specific improvement projects with country project managers • Work closely with the eBusiness Manager to support and add value to eBusiness activities and projects.
REQUIREMENTS Fluent English; conversant German and additional languages desired • Strong standardized test scores and academic performance • Junior, senior, or graduate level student (or equivalent) seeking business-related degree. MBA ideal, but preference also given to Accounting, Finance, IT, CS, or Operations Management students. • Analytical, conceptual, and process-oriented thinking • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with international managers • Ability to work independently • European work experience • Experience with fleet management or information systems management is a strong advantage

35 hrs/wk

INTERNSHIP START DATE
Flexible, with consideration given to school scheduling. Late August preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This position has a high degree of flexibility for the student to create their own project(s) and success, using their specific talents and education to add value to Alphabet, BMW Financial, and the BMW Group.
