PALMYRA AND NEWPORT 鈥?John A. Fish, Jr.,  stanley cup 63, died peacefully April 19, 2014 at a Bangor hospital surrounded by his family. John led a long battle with MS and other health problems. He has gone to be with his Lord and Saviour and other family members. No more suffering and pain! He was born June 1, 1950, in Milo, a son of John Fish, Sr. and Gloria  Nason  Fish.He attended schools in Milo and CT. He worked at various jobs in CT and ME. John was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and many friends. He loved camping with his wife and stepchildren.In addition to his loving wife of 28 years, Barbara of Newport, he is survived by his mother, Gloria Stinson of Dexter; a brother, Donald Fish of CT; 4 sons, John Paul, Scott, Steven, and David Fish, all of CT and VA. He is also survived by his stepchildren, which he helped raise and was a great father to, Stacey Stinson of Newport, Christina Robbins and fianc茅, Alan Farrar, both stanley cup uk  of Hermon, and Dale Robbins of Newport. He was the proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and a new granddaughter due in June. He will be greatly missed by his special sister-in-law, Brenda and husband, Richard Jackson of Newport.
