THE HAGUE, Netherlands  AP  鈥?The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court sought urgent clearance Monday from the court s judges to resume investigations of war crimes and crimes against humanity in A stanley ca fghanistan, saying that under the country s new Taliban rulers  there is no longer the prospect of genuine and effective domestic investigations  in the country.                    Judges at the global court authorized an investigation by Prosecutor Karim Khan s predecessor, Fatou Bensouda, in March last year. LONDON  AP  鈥?A masked attacker on a motorcycle stabbed and seriously injured a British army officer in daylight near a barracks in southeast England, witnesses and police said Wednesday.              A 24-year-old man was arrested soon after on suspicion of attempted murder, Kent police said.               Police said the assailant acted alone and the stabbing was not believed to be an act of terror. They are investigating if it was related to the suspect s mental health.               The officer, who is in his 40s, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment, the British army said. Domestic handset-maker Lava on Monday said that it was planning to invest Rs. 2,615 crores to ramp up production at its facility.Lava has plans to invest Rs. 2,615 crores in a phased manner in the country under the Make in India ; initiative, Lava chairman and managing director Hari Om Rai said at the sidelines of a launch event.The handset-maker, which already has an assembly plant in Noida, will invest further into the facility to scale up production.The company is already in the process of bringing the component ecosystem in India from various countries.
