见到（not in the continuous tenses 不用于进行时态） become aware of (sb./sth.) bz using the eyes; perceive 看见
e.g. I look out of the window but see nothing.
      I saw you put the key in the lock, turn it and open the door.

得出结论：I look out of the window and see you.
       因此: I see you. 是可行的语法。

不明白为什么说德文也错了。

根据朗氏德汉双解大词典  德国LANGENSCHEIDT出版公司  1998年

mit den Augen erkennen, wo e/e Person od. Sache ist u. wie sie aussieht
看,看见,看到,瞧见 = erblicken

词典没有直接用现在时的SEHEN加人物的例句,不过如果：
A: siehst du mich?
B: ja, ich sehe dich schon!
是成立的话，那么 Ich sehe dich 也是成立的。

这是我的理解拉。如果还是不对，请指正。
