The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits.

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset.

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta.

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house.

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. " o) T6 j9 e  g9 @9 Q, |* h

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
