Volkswagen Automatic Transmission Dalian (VWATD), a wholly-own subsidiary gearbox plant of VW AG Germany was established in late 2007 to meet the rising demand for more cost-effective and environmentally friendly automatic gearboxes in the A and A0 segments

Playing an integral role to the Group’s drive train strategy, VWATD’s will supply exclusively to VW’s two Mainland joint ventures, working with the latter to ensure the Group’s overall competiviness and technological edge

Position: Assistant to General Manager
Main Tasks:

• Preparations
  -Preparation of documents, status reports, presentations
  -Briefings for GM
  -Board meeting pre and post care (documentation, interpretation, minutes)
• Interpretation
  -Back and forth translations/interpretations for various meetings and conversation from and into German
• Project Management/Organization
  -Schedules
  -Prep tasks with customers, R&D, planning etc.
  -Project meetings
  -Project tool: “Reifegradspiegel”
  -Project: localization of keyparts like cylinder block and cylinder head

Qualifications:

-Chinese: mother tongue
-English: good spoken and written skills
-German: native-like level
-relevant working experience is preferred
-understanding of the automotive industry, engineering background
-good communication skills
-very good organizing skills and structural thinking
-high proficiency in MS Office as well as IT appliances (computer, projector, etc.)
-flexibility and ability to work under pressure
