据《中国日报》报道 据英国媒体4日报道，英国曼彻斯特市德罗尔斯登地区34岁新娘瓦尼莎.曼斯菲尔德日前和新郎安迪.威廉斯在当地一家教堂中举行了隆重的婚礼，让宾客们目瞪口呆的是，瓦尼莎的婚礼上竟请来了38个伴娘，她们全都身穿黑色衣裙，年龄从3岁到46岁不等，人数之多得用一辆双层公共汽车才能全部装得下。据悉，瓦尼莎的38名伴娘已经创下了英国婚礼纪录。% U9 I: C% c4 G; s% o5 A1 B9 |

   这么多的伴娘也将为瓦尼莎和安迪主持婚礼的牧师理查德.因格汉姆惊呆了，因格汉姆说：“很显然，我在以前主持的婚礼上从来没有遇到过这么多的伴娘，但她们显然都很遵守纪律，这真是一个不同寻常、但却令人愉快的婚礼。”

   据悉，瓦尼莎的38名伴娘显然创下了英国婚姻史上的一个纪录，但她显然还不是世界上拥有最多伴娘的新娘。早在2003年，一名加拿大新娘结婚时，曾经请了79个女性当伴娘。
