But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill.

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six.

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta.

Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. : T( D* a( n7 S+ n8 O: Z1 X

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood.

$ |! T( v  {& w4 UMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories.

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. ; a, g5 R/ H2 j, J8 E! @9 A
