Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby.

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32.

"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." 1 H" m8 P8 A, o. X0 V

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum.

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. 3 y/ S; P9 E$ P' n

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood.   X  H2 z6 e4 R; D1 b0 l

2 Z' @( H! J8 ?2 Y; |8 ZMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. 7 D: p* C1 I  s; w9 W

% K- g9 ]" T( K3 eThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years.

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children.

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. + V# [1 [" y, u

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way."
