But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill.

Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again.

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. ; m& q& Q! H8 [' Q1 m: h9 J

1 c8 E  t6 ~# `) t$ R, s( B, cThey spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years.

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. $ ^8 z4 m: x& B

5 O( L  @/ D9 ?8 LMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight.

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
