After having nine children in as many years, you might think Rayna and Malcolm Warriner's brood is complete.

Less than a month after giving birth to their newest addition, Mrs Warriner is already broody for a tenth baby.

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. 7 d  J; ~- `) q( o1 T( B9 p

( z4 k* [' Q1 H: U1 c% }1 u) YThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset.

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. ! w/ I( ~% `! z" p# I

. N( p, x" m; m/ IMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again.

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. & N+ F, x* ^# ?4 F# {  f3 T

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now."

6 H! N7 c. K9 i" KMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories.

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 4 B: e* K% y! }  z' f7 R

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. % _8 k$ N* z& v3 X; w

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children.

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way."
