问一个换护照的问题

就是关于本周杜塞换护照的问题。我刚刚签了个英国的旅游签证，如果现在换护照，这个签证还有效吗？
我是打算圣诞新年去玩。但签证页快用完了，明年延签应该不行。

换过后 当前的护照被 剪角，代表失效。

那就是旧护照上的英国签证也失效了，哪怕没过期？
我搜了一下老帖子，有人说新老两本护照可以同时出示。

我也顺便问下，本来能一次延签两年，但护照有效期只有1年了，能不能以这为理由去大使馆换新护照（也就说护照有效期还有一年以上）

刚刚找到英国的签证机构给的faq。这样说的话，应该就是新旧护照能同时使用了
What should I do if I get a new passport when I still have a valid visa in my old passport? Is it possible to transfer the visa or will I need to make a new application?
You can travel with both the old and new passports, as the visa will still be considered valid. Should your Embassy or Consulate retain your old passport you would need to apply for a new visa for a transfer to the new passport. Applications for a transfer will need to be made in the same way as applying for a visa and you should ideally include a photocopy of your previous visa. There is a visa administration fee for this service.
