But, with one seat spare in the family minibus, the couple feel they still have a gap to fill.

"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. & h- x$ d( ^0 @8 K6 J4 g! |+ y% a# X7 o' O

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six.

& U$ \. }) a/ a8 }, eMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. ) y% p  x2 m% C8 d! _$ H9 h+ j

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. ' o5 u# r6 `  p

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories.

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house.

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years.

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight.

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way."

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
