Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six.

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta.

3 o; N; Z" d( a1 c( T& `Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories.

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years.

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight.

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
