c是正确的.我不知道怎么解释,但是就是说:as is known to sb...
如果选择D,就应该是 It is known to the world that China's Liu......

另外我也同意前面一位朋友,怎么会是: He did everything which he could to get .....
明显应该是 He did everything that he could to get.....

也不知道是真是假...
这么无聊的考题...
