EPLAN Professional Services department:

EPLAN Professional Services provide solutions to optimize and standardize our customers engineering processes and structures and ensure successful implementation through professional project management.

Role:

As “Technical Consultant – Process” you work mainly with the planning, presenting and follow up prospect presentations during acquisition phase mainly for the process industry. You analyze and immerse yourself in the customers needs to define optimal solutions based on our portfolio for the prospect. You act as project leader when implementing our solutions together with our customer care and professional service department. You will build industry know how for our pre sales activates specifically towards the process industry, analysing there specific requirements and understand their business drives and needs, and translate them into technical solution. You will keep yourself updated on new features in the products and transform functions to the message of customer value. You mainly interact with sales engineers, product specialists and our solution department.

Responsibilities:

-        Pre sales and post sales activities
-        Prospect and customer development, coaching, analysis
-        Build industry know how
-        Project management
-        Handle specification, project plans
-        Onsite customer consultation
-        Channel sales support
-        Presentations at trade shows
Requirements:

-        working experience in technical pre sales, product specialist or process engineer, ideally with a strong background in the process industry (ex. Pharmaceutical, Oil and gas, Water/Waste water treatment, Food and beverage, Machinery etc.)
-        Strong communication, networking and interpersonal skills
-        Strong business acumen with ability to influence at the various levels of the organization
-        Strong team worker with interface to sales
-        Pro-active attitude
-        Proficient oral and written Chinese and English communication skills
-        The job involves extensive travelling

EPLAN Professional Services provide solutions to optimize and standardize our customers engineering processes and structures and ensure successful implementation through professional project management.

Role:

As a “Software Developer” at EPLAN you work mainly to develop customer specific solutions including customization of our products and integrations to third part solutions based on our Application Programming Interface (API) from the engineering platform of EPLAN. With customers in various industries such as automotive, machinery and power you will have the opportunity to grow as a developer but also to understand various industry requirements. You are a member of the international network of EPLAN developers around the world with highly motivating work environment where creative ideas and original thought will be encouraged. Responsibilities include all facets of software development; designing, prototyping, implementation, testing and documentation. You mainly interact with data manager, sales engineers, solution partners and product specialists.

Responsibilities:

-        Software development including implement, testing and troubleshooting
-        Define solution based on customer requirements together with technical sales
-        Define specifications in close cooperation with customers, partners and technical sales
-        Estimate time requirements for assigned projects. Deliver assignments on time, adhering to pre-determined specification and quality standards
-        Cooperation with EPLAN Headquarters for knowledge and solution transfer
-        Interact with international partners Europe and Asia
Requirements:

-        Programming skills in cSharp and .NET (VB, C#, C++ are meritorious)
-        Strong communication, consulting and interpersonal skills
-        Good problem solving and reasoning skills
-        Pro-active attitude
-        Strong team worker
-        Proficient oral and written Chinese and English communication skills.
-        The job involves extensive travelling

Desired:

-        Previous development for integration to PDM\PLM, ERP solutions
-        Familiar with engineering solutions like CAD, E-CAD or M-CAD
-        Electrical or process engineering know-how

Role:

In this highly visible, leadership role, you will as “Data Manager” work mainly to develop our solution business including integrations to third part solutions, local customization of our products as well as develop strategic partnership to integrators and third part service providers, and customer in various industries such as automotive, machinery and power . In this role, you manage the business requirements, design solutions and lead the development carried out by internal developers or external partners. Together with our sales and technical sales, members of your team interact with customers during acquisition and implementation phases of customer projects, with focus on pre-sales activities as well as implementing defined solution for our customers. You will ensure success in our solution projects through high know how transparency, project management and coaching. You are responsible for planning, presenting, analysing and follow up prospect projects during acquisition phase. You act within the project team when implementing our solutions together with our technical sales department. You mainly interact with country manager, sales manager, sales engineers, solution partners and product specialists.

Responsibilities:

-        Lead the ‘Data Portal’ and ‘integration’ terms
-        Develop, coach and manage the team members
-        Establish and drive goals for the department
-        Develop long term partner relationships
-        In charge of pre sales and implementation activities
-        Define specifications in close cooperation with prospects and partners
-        Design and develop solution proposals including calculations, risk assessment and planning
-        Project management, control of development and implementation
-        Cooperation with EPLAN Headquarters for knowledge and solution transfer
-        Interact with international partners Europe and Asia
Requirements:

-        working experience with an international company in technical pre-sales, project management or consultancy sales, ideally with a background in the software industry
-        Strong communication, consulting and interpersonal skills
-        Pro-active attitude
-        Capable of addressing customers’ decision-makers
-        Strong team worker with interfaces to sales and technical sales
-        Strong project management skills
-        Good business acumen, be able to understand customers business drives and needs, and translate them into technical solution
-        Proficient oral and written Chinese and English communication skills.
-        The job involves extensive travelling
