世界艺术殿堂纽约林肯中心于2月2日起在大都会歌剧院上演《尼克松在中国》（NIXON IN CHINA）。6 r6 k, ?8 }& J( q! c( ~/ ]1 y

" y9 x' H0 G' u. T2 r该剧取材于世界瞩目的1972年尼克松访华的破冰之旅，1978年在休斯顿首演后广受欢迎，被评为20世纪后半页最重要的歌剧作品之一，此次在纽约演出，将再掀中美关系旋风。与此同时，与林肯中心隔街相望的一家中餐馆“顺利园”应林肯中心的要求，按当年中国总理周恩来款待美国尼克松总统的国宴菜谱，烹调6桌菜肴，慰劳60位当年随尼克松总统访华的人员和随行的新闻工作者。看到当年品尝过的精美菜肴，这些现在已步入老年的人士发出了惊叹，举杯庆贺西方的歌剧艺术与中国的饮食文化飘香林肯中心。

: d' H* }" P! Z% h' O/ z* F" ~! q人在德国 社区It’s hard to believe that “Nixon in China,” John Adams and Alice Goodman’s four-hour opera inspired by Richard Nixon’s diplomatic trip to China in 1972, is only now making its Metropolitan Opera debut — about 25 years after it first premiered in Houston.
* z, ?3 e0 H5 b2 s6 _4 k% K, r6 i5 x9 X6 L# M' |8 z
It has since become one of the most admired American operas. Fittingly enough, Peter Sellars’ production essentially re-creates the original staging, complete with Mark Morris’ dance choreography. James Maddalena, who originated the role of Nixon, is still playing the president.
