We are a professional search firm based at Shanghai, China. We mainly provide recruitment service for multinational companies, especially in the hiring of technical professionals.
Currently there is one opening at the global R&D centre with a leading consumer goods company at Shanghai, China. Please see position details as below:
Company: Global R&D Centre, Leading Consumer Goods Company
Position: Assistant Research Scientist
Report to: Senior Manager
Location: Shanghai, China
Responsibilities:
1. Design and preparation of novel micro/nano structure, esp. on metal substrates.
2. Surface modification skills through chemical methodologies.
3. Develop product prototypes and make evaluations relevant to real applications.
4. Raw materials scout and evaluation.
5. Write Research reports and summary of the scientific and technologic work.
Requirements:
1. Fresh PhD in materials science, physical chemistry, electrochemistry, and major in metal material science and processing is preferred.
2. Familiar with material science experimental skills, on metal materials is a must (stainless steel preferred).
3. Familiar with metal material processing and evaluation technologies
4. Familiar with nanotechnology and fabrications methods
5. Experience in surface nano/micro construction on metal surfaces is necessary.
6. Basic knowledge in chemistry.
7. Self-motivated, proactive & able to work independently
8. Good communication skills
9. Good command of English in oral and written and skilled in MS office.
