"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32.

Another boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum.

In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months.

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset.

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood.

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. * _8 H0 v. A: F

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 3 s; X6 k2 H/ Y' D; J

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." 0 k- l, I% O6 H8 t6 d5 }' X( }. X& m9 @

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
