The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits.

In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months. / g6 r- g* G8 `& d

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset.

- q! ]/ i+ K) J  eMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. . L: m4 V2 C2 k% J

To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. 6 P% w3 m  \/ u& i4 V

They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years.

They struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children.

"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way."

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
