"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32.

The couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits.

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. 7 _9 Z+ [) u: u3 ]' w
